Reiki is a Japanese healing method and is one of the world's most widely practiced and commonly recognized forms of subtle energy healing. In fact, Reiki is the most known and widely used form of energy medicine performed in the United States today. The Usui system of Reiki originated in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui and was introduced to the West by Mrs. Hawayo Takata

This Reiki Level I class is an intensive in-person training taught in the Usui tradition.
​
In Reiki Level I, you will learn:
• What Reiki is and how to use it
• The history of Reiki
• How to channel Reiki energy for self-healing and the healing of others.
•Hand positions for self-healing and healing others
• Techniques for tapping into and expanding intuitive, extra-sensory perceptions for use during healing sessions
• How the chakras function with regard to healing work.
• Self-healing techniques for expanding personal awareness and increasing wellbeing.
• The first Reiki symbol.
• Hands-on practice both giving and receiving full Reiki sessions.
You will receive Reiki Level I Initiation: four separate attunements that open the flow of Reiki energy within the student

There will be a one-hour follow-up via Zoom 1 week after Sunday’s session to answer questions and check the progress of required practice sessions (8 minimum).
Students will return separately for a 3-hour session to ensure the clarity, understanding, and integrity of the work being done. During this private session, there will be a volunteer client for whom the student will facilitate an entire Reiki session.

The total class time is 14 hours.
Upon completion of this final session, the student will receive their certification.

Reiki Level II
The successful completion of Reiki Level I from a Certified Reiki Master/Teacher is a prerequisite for this course. Completion of Reiki I from the Internet or some source other than a certified teacher is not acceptable. It is required that you have had the necessary fundamentals, training, and attunements provided in Reiki I.

In Reiki Level II:
• There is an emphasis on the proper Reiki protocols that a Professional Reiki Practitioner should use, (these were touched upon in Reiki Level I.)
• You will receive one Reiki attunement.
• Three symbols & their respective mantras will be mastered.
• Distance healing to send Reiki healing energy to a person in a remote location is taught.
•. There is much time spent in hands-on practice mastering techniques to connect with the energy.
After the 3-day weekend, you will be required to conduct practice sessions
including some performed remotely at which point you will receive your Reiki Level II Certification.
